Is that an 18" front wheel, hard for me to see.......old age I guess.[>:]
Yes; 18" front and rear. It is actually somewhat deceiving as the front fender is lowered an 1" so it hugs the tire as a 21" wheel would.
thanks for the reply. that's exactly what I had planned for mine!

As everyone has said... That looks REALLY sweet!!!!

Regarding the lowered front fender...
1) How'd ya do it?
2) How are ya gonna change front pads ~ pull the wheel?

I really like that look and might actualy "borrow" the idea..... [sm=confused06.gif]

Yet another bitchn Bagger.....

Thanks. The front fender is from Native Custom Baggers. I don't know about the changing the brake pads; I am replacing them in about another 1200 miles so I will find out then. It looks like my brake line is long enough to rotatethe caliper downward far enough on the rotor to get to the point where there is enough clearance to remove it.

Your bike looks incredible! I really love the choices that you've made. I vote for Lyndall brake pads in another 1200 miles. Looks great with the bags on or off!

Hey Fast Eddie, did you get your extended bags from Bad Dad in Fort Wayne, Indiana? How much did they set you back?

I got the extended bags from Arlen Ness. They are the deep bags not just extensions.I think they were made forthem by Corbin. I was disappointed in the quality and spent quite a bit of money reworking them. They were $750 for the pair. Expensive for what I got. I would look at Bad Dad or one of the others that now make the deep bags. I also would make sure that the finish inside and out was top quality and that all the hardware mounting holes were pre drilled (mine weren't; tooka long time to get everything lined up and drilled properly).

Hey Fast Eddie, extra nice lookin ride. Did you have any issues with the new tire/wheel combinationscrubbing on the fender using the so-low system with the Legend Air Ride shocks?

Thanks. Yes I do have problem with the rear fender rubbing on the tire when the Legend Air Ride is fully lowered. but it isdue tothe fact thatI have a set of lowering blocks on the rear which lowers it 1" more than thestandard Legend set up (I put the lowering blockson because I lowered the front suspension 1" and I wanted the bike to be level when the Air Ride was fully extended). I did not have that problem with the 16' wheel and Dunlops, which are .3" smaller in diameter according manufacturers specs. I guess that .3" made the difference. I just have to remember to not lower it all the way. There would be no clearanceproblem if it were not for the lowering blocks. No problem at all with the front fender which has been lowered 1" also (in addition to lowering the front suspension).
