Thought I'd report on my first experience ordering online from Ronnie's HD.
Very positive experience...
- Ordered two parts, the most critical was cheaper than any online HD merchant that we all know of and use frequently
- The second part was a little more than others, but the savings on the first made the total purchase worth it
- No shipping cost (fairly standard when ordering over a certain amount)
- Very friendly/helpful folks when I called to check on order status, which is of paramount importance to me (not all online HD parts merchants are equal in this regard!)
The parts took about 10 days total to get to me, no big deal as I wasn't in a hurry. I could have paid to have them to me faster; no need.
All in all, I'm a very satisfied customer. I'll definitely shop them again in the future when I'm looking for parts. There are a number of good ones, and this house falls into that category. Keep them in mind.
Ditto. Was using Lake Shore for a while until they ceased discounting. Now using Kutters and they are good. I had an issue with a black mirror that was scratched on the black finish and they sent me a new replacement very quickly even before I returned the damaged one. They get all of my business now unless I need it same day.
Having to rebuild my Road King after an accident I like how you can buy one sided parts from their easy to use part search at Ronnie's. Will start ordering parts as soon as I get my insurance check, hopefully next week.
How do you go about ordering from them? I couldn't find any sort of page like the others where you can plug in part numbers to build and send an order.
That operation moved to New Castle HD, I'd used them, very easy, effienct and fast to ship - in fact I placed an order with Surdyke and another order 5 days later with New Castle and guess which one got here first? It was the NC order, Surdyke took 4-5 days to process payment and send it to the warehouse to be ordered. Plus I really like that with NC, you can check their stock (pdf format) before ordering as well as check the status of any back ordered items as to when they are due for release at HD - they update these daily.
I had no idea New Castle was formerly Zannotti's. I've been dealing with New Castle lately and it's been great. i highly recommend them.
