so they took the factory beer rack off? now I really wanna see some pics...I couldn't get mine to load on that last post...but you can see it if you go to my profile and look in my album...I seen one old aftermarket sissy bar for one of these bikes last year on evilbay and it sold for 350 bucks
The wet stuff doesn't matter, it dried eventually.
Wasn't real simple taking off the instrument cluster, more patience than skill, though. Should be able to get it off without removing the fairing, but since I was taking it off anyway...
And... no bars.
Be aware that if you get deep into the front end of a sharknose, it gets messy. Real messy...

Definitely not as simple as I expected. Bars are not real high on the priority list at the moment, but I will have to take a look and see what I can do with it.
Nothing sweeter than an old Tour Glide. This one is an '86. As you can see in my signature pic I just updated the old butterfly to an S&S Super E. My bike has never, ever run so well!!
I by a lot of my parts from Ronnies They have all the part breakout diagrams and list what is still available. Even the fairing and caddy can be bought last I checked.
thanks..i like riding big bertha..not the fastest thing I have owned but is one of the best ones I have had on the interstate...that extra weight helps from being blown all over the place...anybody with an 80" evo I highly recommend a 10-1 compression with a good cam, nothing extremely radical, you will not be disappointed
thanks bangoskank....im wandering whats the story behind your profile name...or maybe I might should not....lol
anything I can do to help let me know...these ol glides are getting harder to find..i used to hate them I thought the front end was ugly as hell, but I rode my brothers 88 model glide up the interstate and had to have one after that...lol
