Waiting on my phase 7 to come in. A buddy has one on his street glide and when our bikes are next to each other's his light looks white and mine looks yellow. It's expensive but you get what you pay for.
I have same problem going to work every morning, deer. Both sides of road. Most of us HD riders run Bulb, H4 Halogen 80/100 watt Osram/Sylvania from www.germanautoparts.com @ $12.95ea. It'll light up your lane, trust me. Price is right also.
I have the Phase 7 also. Awesome headlight. The Sylvania Silver Star are very good bulbs, although I did get a very long life from them on my Street Glide. JR
sold my truck lite... bad for side vision in curves or even going straight the side vision wasn't there.. stock lite has been the best with auxilary lites..
save your money.

BK, maybe you did not have it aimed correctly. I have the PH7 set on my bike and have no issues seeing around corners, they turn night into day, even light up street signs 1/2 a mile away in the DAYLIGHT! Sorry it didn't work out for ya.
tried everything.. rode around for two weeks with a screwdriver in my cooler.. the stock lite actually covers further to the side than even the auxilary lites.. just not as bright. i have the aux lites aimed just a little under low beam and to the sides to were you just notice they go out when you stand in front of them.. now it's perfect.
the difference between the low and the high on the truck lite was spread just a little wide for me as well..
and the nail in the coffin was unless you stood directly in front of the lite in the daytime you couldn't see it .. and when you could it was only for a few seconds cause it blinded you...
guess i was asking for a lot.. lost about 50 bucks trying it and buying the ring.. i hadn't even put the ring on for the first two weeks as i was trying to find a happy medium.. then put it on for a week or so and then sold the set before i had it off the bike and put my stocker in with the aux lighting as soon as kutter got them to me in the mail...
noticing i'm not the only one.. more than a few are selling their led lites.. guess we're in the minority but we are here.
guess i could have but the auxilary on with the truck lite but couldn't afford the truk lite bulbs for them. moneywise the stocker and aux worked best..didn't want the funky look of dark headlight and clear auxilary lighting.
i see you have aux lites with the truck lite? guessing you use them all the time? i was trying for more lite to the sides the cheapest way i could.
Truck Lite Phase 7 -- best investment -- both of my bikes have it along with the LED passing lights -- I ride a lot in the mountains at night and have no problems with seeing side to side in the corners --- I tested it by turning off the passing lamps -- and was able to see side to side on a 4 lane road with a turning lane -- could see deer crossing the road a quarter of a mile away. -- putting it on bright is even better
