Heard about wax and actually any thing but s-100 can also affect seals in engine wtf? I use dish soap and water and then use wax spray to get in all those tough spots w/out leaving residue. then soft cloth. The spray wax also keeps away pitting on spokes/pipes..ect there are some really good spray waxes with ucanuba? but just use some good auto brand.
Be very careful with anything that has the word "Polish" in the name. Some of these have abrasives in the mix to polish out imperfections in aluminum. Chrome can not be polished, if you use something that has abrasives in it, you will see a dull area when you're done. This is fine scratches from the abrasives
Windex here too but I have been known to use plexus at times and it looks nice. Leaves an anti-static coating and actually keeps dust to a minimum. Harder to wipe the streaks away but works well when you do.
