Sucks to be those guys but they are fortunate that were driving a truck and towing when this idiot decided to make a U Turn in front of them. If they had been riding their bikes when he made the illegal U Turn it would have been a totally different story. My son was riding my bike one day when the lady in front of him slowed, pulled to the right and stopped on the right shoulder of the road. He downshifted and started to pass her when she flipped a U Turn right in front of him. He hit the brakes and went over the windshield. Fortunately he didn't hit her car. He got some road rash and the bike needed a new crash bar afterwards but otherwise was okay. She told my son "I heard you coming" but she still turned in front of him. Watch out for idiot cage drivers!

Many years ago a friend pulled a uturn on me on a two lane highway. My BSA twin punched the side of that 56 Chevy station wagon in so much that he couldn't drive it. I went flying over his car, landed on my butt. I still remember sitting there in the road while that BSA engine thumped slowly until it quit. I rode the bike home with smashed up levers on the side that ended up slapping up against the car. His car needed to be towed. Yes my angels got extra duty pay that day.
