The stock seat on my Limited was comfortable enough, but made me feel like I was sitting on top of the tank. Put a Tallboy seat on, the position is almost perfect, but I get a little bit of butt burn after 3 or 4 hours. Maybe I'll send it to Mean City over the winter for some fancy foam padding, but for now it's ok.

Had an '11 Electra Glide. Stock seat set me too far forward and crushed my n*ts. If I had kept the bike, I would have put a Harley Hammock seat on it. For reference, I'm 6'3" tall with 34" inseam.

Guess I should mention that I'm 5'8" with a 29" inseam and 180 pounds.

I liked my stock seat but better after I had Mean City Cycle do double memory foam mod on it. Allen shaved sides and dropped me down & back a little. I still have seat and use it with my Tour pak for long hauls and wife likes it best. Run 08 Road Glide seat rest of time.

Stock seat sits me on top of the tank. I feel very cramped and with pressure on my tailbone. Sent it to mean city but still felt cramped. Just sent it back to them for more re shaping. We'll have to see how that turns out.

The stock seat wasn't very comfortable for me so I picked up a Harley Hammock for my 2011 FLHTK. The Hammock seems wider and I sit about 1/2" to 1" higher. It's still a good height for me. I am also considering adding the Progressive 944 shocks. I find the Harley Hammock to be a very comfortable seat.

I had lower back and tailbone pain on the stock seat too. I put an Airhawk R on it recently and it's a night and day difference. Last Friday I rode 610 miles from TN back to FL. I had barely any discomfort at all.

I agree with Jersey Jim. I did the same thing. The stocker pushed me to far forward on top of the tank. The Tall Boy seat gave me more room. Works for me for now.

my 03 eg stock seat pushed me forward and crushed my boys as well. 6' 34 inseam 193lbs. added a gel insert. same problem. tried a buddies corbin seat from his 02 road king. magic. set me back at least 1.5 inches. lowered me. i added an airhawk 2 and with the right air adjusting i have all the comfort i need and the boys are happy. the only thing you have to do is buy from harley is a filler piece that goes between the seat and tank. 30.00 dollars.

On my '09 UC, the stock seat was god for about 35,000 miles. After that it felt like sitting on a brick. I bought a Road Zeppelin. On the '14 I've never even sat on the stock seat, swapped it before I took it home.
