I never had any bypass plugs? just said to disconnect them. well if the rear is black they ordered me the wrong sensor. then when I switched them thinking the grey was they rear, the front threw the code. Guess they better take this one back and order me a real rear one. only then will I know if its fixed.

I told the guy 3 times it was the rear!

good luck. i'm not sure that they are functionally any different, just color coded so that they are easier to ensure they are plugged in correctly.

Unhook the O2's and if it clears up no doubt what is wrong. the black is rear and gray is front. The PV will run without the O2's, but is better with them. You have to swap them in the pipe as the plugs are polarized. I guess it is possible that the O2's got all carboned up and are not working due to being run unhooked and unheated. I feel it is definitely an O2 problem because it runs ok until warmed up then starts acting up. You can also go into the map and turn off the O2's or change the AFR table to the highest reading of .970 as it won't go into closed loop that rich. I think .979 to .981 is as low as they will go. Need to get the problem sorted out to where you can use the O2's as they improve the performance and allow autotune.

Just a sincere thought on this - they make a kit, heavily researched, tested, installed on hundreds if not thousands of bikes, reliable.

I think because they want predictable outcomes and happy customers, they are reluctant to mix/match.

I did all the updates on the PV before putting it on my bike. I flashed a tune drom dynojet then used the auto tune basic a few times. I kept the original tune and even tried that one again after having the issues.

Rear is black, but I think the only difference is the color. Get them in the right locations and you should be OK. Just follow them back from the O2 sensors and put them where they belong.

Exactly what I thought. Too much on the line to endorse a mish mash compilation.

Another thought and I've seen it before. Make sure you have the Heated O2 sensor turned on. This is an option in the PV and I have seen a couple maps floating around and this was turned off and should have been on.

OK, 2 things. went back to the dealer and bought the second sensor and asked if they had given me the wrong one and he looked it up again and confirmed that the rear is grey. I bought the front anyway just to make sure so I had 2 new ones.

Still throws both front and rear o2 sensors not responding. It's like the computer isnt reading them at all.

Once again I put it back to stock tune and put my original PC-V back on and it runs like it did pre PV.

I guess ill just have to take it in and have the dealer take a look at it. Should I put it back to stock with no tuner?

any other help would be appreciated.

I don't know what you're dealer is looking at, unless there is a difference in the color code between different models. I couldn't find your year/model of bike.

I own one bike w/ 02 sensors. That's my 2012 Bagger. According to my '12 service manual, the grey plug is the FRONT 02 sensor and the black plug is the REAR 02 sensor to the ECM...

I thought all HD 02 sensors follow this.

Unless you have a typo, or I misunderstood, you still have your sensors connected backwards......

I would start by connecting them correctly, before taking it in for service...

Now, if the ECM is not reading them at all.... that could be a different matter....

Good luck with the repair. The PV is a great tuner, I doubt it's the tuner causing your issues.

I dont have PCV, but as I thought I read when deciding on tuners, it disables or does not use the o2 sensors because it would conflict with the fuel changes that the PCV makes.

The rest renders me useless because I have an 06 Deluxe and no o2 sensors....lol.
