Default No hands...

So I 'm old and figured I'd about seen it all, But today this shirtless guy ( had a full face) on a fat tire chopper blows by me (cruise set at 82) on the right between a truck and car with one hand on the throttle. As soon as he was clear it was no hands. He pretty much rode no hands for the next 10 miles where I turned off???? This was Bay Area freeway! I was kind'a impressed but don't know how long he's gonna live???

I've got a friend that sets his cruise on an ultra and sits in the back seat. I can't steer for crap without using my hands, straight is no problem.

A good friend of mine rides his road king with his hands resting on the saddle bags .all day long puts his hands on the bars to stop and get up to speed once out of the red lights and heavy traffic it's no hands again .

I do it from time to time. Wife does not like it from the back but trust me, the bike is not going to fall over or go out of control. Those big and heavy wheels keep the big bike running pretty much straight. Just a little lean here or there to keep it straight. I don't corner this way however :-). You can steer with your legs by pushing on one highway peg or the other as it shifts the bike a tad.

There is a guy about 55 or 60 who lives in the same town I do. His nickname is Cowboy and he has a Wide Glide. If I see him and he is riding on the interstate, or down any other road he will let go of the handle bars doing about 60 or 70, lay all the way back on his bike with his head resting on the back fender, and hold his fingers up in the air like a cowboy shooting pistols. The first couple of times I saw him do it, I was scared for him but I kind of got used to it now.
