Default Quick release tourpack ?'s

I am wanting to get the quick release kit for my tourpack. Is there a kit for all the wires also on my 2007? Or do you have to remove and hide certain wires. And once its removed, is there a certain sissy bar/backrest that can connect to the quick release hardware, or what else would I need to install a passenger backrest?

Since you have an 07 ultra, there is no kit. See this thread for how to achieve: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...etachable.html

I understand the wire deal now. Thats not a big deal. But what about adding a pass backrest? Do the brackets installed for the tourpack release work with backrest also?

So most or all quick release backrests will work on those brackets installed for tourpack?

No. The quick release that will hold your tourpak is set back to far. For a backrest to be able to be installed you will need to do the forward quick release on your 07. This will give you a total of 8 mounting points. Four forward, four rear. Backrest goes to forward mounts and a rack can be installed on the rear if you want. Makes for a lot of versatility.
