Default Hog Tunes

Have my front faring apart. Was thinking about replacing the stock speakers with the Hog Tunes speakers since they are right there. Anybody do this? Is it worth the money? Or is it only worth the money if you get the entire system, amp and all?

I've done the Hog Tunes speakers and amp on my road glide. ok set-up for the price. definately makes the music louder so you can hear it on the highway. But its one of those things where you get what you pay for. If you are really into quality tunes its going to cost you more than what Hog Tunes wants.
Don't even bother with just getting speakers, you need an amp.

Hog tunes speakers made a diff in my 12 SG. Tweeter Pods even more. Then that wasn't enuf and I wound up with 2 amps, lower fairing speakers, lid speakers, sony radio etc., etc..... Anyway hogtunes is a great company with good tech support and warranty. Go for it. Good luck.

Wait and save your money. HOG has great service, but the actual product needs a lot to be desired! Good company with an OK product. Save and wait. I went RFG amps with the stock head and love it. Ride safe.

Thanks for the info guys...! Put my faring back on last night without doing anything at this time. Will do some more research and then make a decision.

I did just the speakers on my 07 and it make the music a little more crisp at interstate speed... not blow your ears off, just clearer... it is what I was looking for.

I tried several type of amps and speakers. Better sound over all. Mainly more volume with the amps. I ended up using hog tune speakers only. It was a pleasant surprise. Not as much volume as with a amp but good clean sound. About the only time you really need a amp is cruising the interstate speeds or more. Normal riding not trying to impress anyone it worked good for me. I am deaf in one ear and have lost 40% in the the other. Using ear buds to protect your ears helps with the sound quality

I put hogtunes speakers and amp and as some said it was a nice addition and can hear clear now. I may upgrade to bigger better down the road but for now I'm happy
