Mine do a great job as well, but the bike does run a little hotter. I took mine off for now since the temps are climbing, but I'll put them back on in a month or so.
Like mine, they stay on all year. They seem to push the wind "Out".
You got the Lower Fork Baffle too? It compliments the lowers, reduces wind that comes up and over the tank, also referred to as "Beard Lift".
Both make a big difference in cold weather riding.
I refuse to take mine off....and all of my buddies love the way they look. I used to have the old style on my deluxe and hated them...they were so long and big. These look really nice up against my chrome forks....thats what makes them blend in
