Well, either the bars or the saddle have to go. I have to reach a bit more than I should. On longer rides this becomes a bigger problem of fatigue. Probably even on shorter ones too. But I need to put in some miles to better asses (pun intended) the situation. The saddle really doesn't feel too bad but I can't put a back rest on it. So it may have to go because I will want a back rest.
If the saddle is going, I don't want to put new bars on it before hand and then find out that with a new saddle I don't like how the bars fit.
Now all that aside I do like the beach cruiser bars. But the dealer qouted me $1700-$1800 for WIld Ones (508?) with braided cables and installation. Seems awfully high.
