what about performance? Can you comment on how it has improved? I have an '06 FLHRCI w/ aftermarket slip-ons and am considering either the Rinehart or V&H true duals. Also, did you compare the two brands and what made you go with Rinehart?

I haven't been able to really get out on the road and burn some carbon, so I can't really say much about performance. I will be putting it on a dyno in a week or so, and hope to have some real numbers versus stock.

I never considered V&H, I was torn between Rineharts and Bissanis. I was able to ask a about 8 folks in my HOG Chapter that have the Rineharts and gave me their opinions. It seemed that it was a case of "the best is the enemy of good enough". I wanted true duals, wanted less heat, and a better sound. Like fine music and my lousy hearing, I'm not sure that I would truely be able to feel a performance difference between the Bissanis and the Rineharts. The final decison came down to price ($200.00 less) more than anything else. I like the sound, not too loud, but throatier!

I don't know if this helps you, but if I had some folks who had them recommend V&H's I would have looked at them, but wanted to personally talk to folks and see their bikes and get their stories.

Bottom line, personal recommendations and price were the factors.
