NED! thought that pic looked familiar. I haven't been there since about '05 with my 4th gen Camaro. They're still open til halloween right? I might have to try to get down there for a wednesday night before the season is over.
it's a shame that drag strips are becoming dinosaur-like. Epping is about 3 hrs from me, but i used to go for their Super Chevy show every year (and see and talk to Don Garlits as he hosted the show). Now that they hold a national event at Epping, i will at least visit it once a year. . ahhh, the smell of Nitro !!
I used to go to Connecticut Dragway in Colchester, but that's gone.
the closest to me now, is just over the New York border, Lebanon Valley (rather low budget, a bit amateurish).
sure wish they weren't so rare !
The liability insurance is to high because of our sue happy society these days.

Yep open till end of Oct. Last year I was the very last person down the track in my Lincoln mk8 on a solo pass. Air was -2400 that night!!!! Car was flying.
Just thought I would do an update. I just did the cam chain tensioners and found out that the bike has cams. SE 203's and under the Willey G air cleaner cover was a Scremin Eagle logo so I guess it has an intake kit. I wonder if it has a 95 CI kit? When harley does the 95 kit it comes with those 3 things. I didn't want to pull a head to find out.
This thread is pure awesome!!! I live up in the hi dez and it sucks after they closed down our local dragstrip (lacr)
Never had my bagger down the track but this gives me a idea where it would be. I'd love to get a bunch of socal baggers out to a bagger night at the strip.
Our local strips are Bakersfield, and Fontana.
Guess i'll have to check when my local strip (Martin 131) starts Wednesday test n tune.
Would like to run my ultra and my dyna.
Fastest I've been down the strip on a bike is my old Vmax. Best time on that was 11.63. I think like 118 mph. would have to check the slips for the mph.
