Fabric sofener sheets - wow
Ok back into riding after 2 years. Coming for a 01 Road king then a 08 Heritage to a 14 Street Glide Special.
Living in Texas the grasshoppers are thick. Used to use peroxide and 50/50 in a spray bottle to lossen bugs and it worked well.
After tonight's ride I tried a wet fabric softener sheet and wiped down my fairing and followed with a microfiber towel and then sprayed Original Bike Spirits spray and a clean microfiber towel.
All I can say is Wow!
Wish I had found this out a long time ago. It also worked very well on the Chrome pipes and the rest of the bike.

Then hit with a light spray of the Original Bike Siprits and wiped that off with another microfiber towel.

I use fabric sheets on the cap of my 5th wheel camper to remove bugs, they work awesome! I've never tried them on the bike though, thought they might be a little abrasive. Might have to try it!

might have to try that. i do a lot of night riding, more correctly night commuting, and i get quite a few bugs that want to check out my LED headlights....
