Looking for a good/great roadside assistance provider. Someone who will pick-up & fix or whatever the bad **** happens no matter where you are in the lower 48 + Alaska & Canada
It comes with my GEICO coverage. Used it once so far when I got a flat tire about 10 miles from home. Took me and the bike there on a flatbed and I fixed my tire myself.

American Motorcycle Association is about the best deal going. The membership is $35 a year if memory serves and it includes a towing plan. I haven't had to use it yet but I have it.
upgrade the HOG membership - free towing to nearest HD dealer. 19.95/year and administered thru Road America. Since I have life membership in HOG, that's all I pay annually. The HOG membership gives me a discount on my AT&T wireless plan that more than makes up for it.
I had a bad experience with the HOG roadside. Basically their loyalty is to the dealers not you!!!
I was stuck 18 miles from my house on a Sunday night and needed to get me and my bike home. "Not possible, against their policy, they only tow to Dealers" I was told by several people from Roadside.
They only tow to the nearest dealer, even though there is a dealer near my home, 3 miles the other way there was a closer one, which was the only option according to their policy. Since the Dealer 3 miles away was closed, they would hold my bike overnight and drop it off in the morning.
So much for Assistance... and I had the upgraded policy too!
I ended up paying for a tow to my home.
NO Thanks to HOG Roadside non-asstisance!!!
On a road trip last summer my friends bike broke down 7 miles outside Traverse City, Michigan on a Saturday evening.
He had the HOG upgraded plan and called for a tow. They advised him that they would only tow it to the dealer in Traverse City since it was the closest dealer, (which was closed until Monday morning), even though about 50 miles or so away Zips 45th in *******, Michigan was open on Sundays and said they had the part in stock and could get us taken care of.
Needless to say I used my AAA and had it towed to *******, Michigan and my friend dropped the HOG plan and went with AAA himself.
