hotrodz yes i'll agree the road king has a beautiful classic style and look but I'm more of a modern feel to the bikes and I know me well enough, if i bought a road king I would end up dropping a major amount of coin into it with the dreams I have for a king
Let her know how much more room is on the bagger for her "uncomfortable shoes" and nice clothes. Watch out though, might lead to a trailer to tow behind the bike. My wife really enjoyed the ability to pack a lot into the trailer. Gave her options when we went Sturgis.
ha silver yeh, mine would be the kind to get the bike not liking it then wonder when I'm buying the chopped tour pak for that extra room for clothes and souvenirs from our rides
When I bought my SG I didn't ask her if she liked it or not. I just went to the dealer and got it. After all, I'm the one making the payments. It was what I wanted. She hasn't complained yet about riding though...
oh man, this is easy. just take her on a several overnight road trip. pack all your clothes in a backpack, and then make her wear it
by the time you've got 3 or 4 days under your belt, she'll be wanting to stop at any hd dealer and trade your bike in for some bags.

When I wanted to trade in my fanboy, she was against it because she like the color and the look. So I brought home three different bikes, a shark nose, a classic and the standard. She hated them all and called them old peoples bikes. Then I showed her the air shocks and the big pas sander seat and then I got accused of insinuating she had a big ***. So two days later I traded the fanboy in on the standard and she didn't talk to me for a couple of days. 5 years later she loves it, and I ask her if her *** takes up the whole seat.
Bottom line if she drove me around then she would have had more say but two up is much better on the standard then the softtail.

When I first met my current wife she rode on the back of my hotrod sporty. When we got serious one of the first things she did was put a down payment on a new '94 RK... Don't think she has any high heels in pile of shoes in the closet either???

Old hippie that is awesome. Shortly after getting together with This one she has stood with me for every mod I put on my sportster and fat bob. She even helped pick the paint colors out. No heels in her closet either. She's a little hippie who loves her chuck taylors
