You have no idea of the bugs that we have to go thru, I think they really start coming out sometime next month....THE LOVE BUGS.

 

Bolt a screen door to the front fender?

 

I would be more worried about keeping the moose off my fairing!

 

Just ride in the same direction that they are flying!!! LOL

 

Ride it in an enclosed trailer with a plexiglass front window in the trailer and have someone pull you.

Love bugs, bull knats, dragon flies are horrible this time of year. Really not much you can do OP but grin and bear it.

On another note - crosswinds are putting a crease right across the logo of my HD jacket..........anyone have a fix for that? LOL

 

Tailgate semi trucks!

 

I get hammered by bugs riding at night, they home in on all the bright lights. I found that a gentle weave from side to side in my lane decreases bug impacts in a tremendous way.They just must not have the time to line up with the light.

It attracts a different kind of pest though, the kind with red and blue lights. One officer who pulled me over after hearing my explanation of why I was weaving asked if it really worked as he rides the same stretch we were on.
