Default Bugs
With the large amount of real estate occupied by the batwing fairing and lowers I'm getting way too many bugs to clean up - is there a way to make the bugs stop hitting my shiny parts?

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS , Try spraying Your Bike down with OFF Insect Repellent. Worth a try, lol.

I use that S100 special surface cleaner that Harley sells ,it makes getting them off a little easier . Warm water and a micro rag first .

no - no - I want to make them quit hitting my clean bike in the first place.

Other than using some plastic overlay material, there isn't much you can do except clean them off.
Try hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle mixed with hot water.
Spray them down, and cover with a hot wet cloth, and let it sit for a few minutes.
Best to get them off as soon as possible.
Keep a good coat of wax on your paint too.

i heard a rumor that the dealer could use the digital technician to program the 6.6IT to keep the bugs away from my bike as long as I have the extended warranty and there would be no charge for doing this. Can someone confirm if this is correct?

I just drove 2 hours in the New Brunswick Canada roads in the evening and I could shovel them off my fairing....plus I saw a damn moose come out of the woods, big one...
