Last week I made the first new bike purchase. A 2014 SGS I am very happy with it. Riding to Sturgis this year on my fatboy beat the ever living snot out of me. This new street rides like a Caddy compared to the fatty.
Did the same on my Fatty....twice, even with a fairing on it it was still tough. The Glide is a smoother/more comfortable ride and I think it handles better. Congrats on the new SGS.
I live in Flushing MI. By Flushing and Linden roads. I just hope the boys in blue do not start the nit picking. I am happy to be joining the touring form a few of the softtail boys seem to be tools. You post something over there and they either ignore it or try to discredit what you say.

Yes you are walking a fine line between the two worlds!
They had mine sitting next to a flat black one and the amber just stood right out. and then with the Vance and hines header the high out put slip on's air cleaner and dyno tune they made me a deal I could not refuse.
They wanted my fatboy on trade but that is my baby first Harley that I have ever bought I am keeping that thing until I am dead. I have put way to much Blood Sweat and Tears into that bike to part with it.
I know the feeling, my 75 Shovel will be with me until my last breath but the Ultra eats miles like candy. Never rode like I'm riding now! Congrats, nt, sweet ride!
