Default Patience payed off!

Finally got another handy lift! After buying and returning the yellow sears jack, I'd had enough of floor jacks. I started asking everyone I ran into if they had one for sale or knew anyone and I finally found one for a few hundred bucks more than the floor jack. It's mechanically sound so a little sanding, Case black and Implement orange and it'll be good as new!

I'm going to install a drop panel. Can someone that has one post the dimensions? (and maybe a pic of the under side of the panel) I'm going to use square tubing to strengthen around the hole and on the drop panel to align it but don't have the panel dimensions and don't want to go overboard.

+1 Nice score.
I have a Handy table with a 'drop panel' that I screwed down permanently. It was a PITA because lowered bikes would snag the thing every time I pushed one onto the table.
Instead I got a screw jack that lifts bikes high enough to remove the rear wheel.

Nice score! Love my Handy lift, I almost bought another one last month, but don't have the space for it

My current Handy table doesn't have the drop panel, either. I had a table with a drop panel, but never used it. I'll usually use a floor jack if all I need to do is a tire change, otherwise, I have a wide deck scissor jack that lifts almost as high as the cheapie floor jacks, which allows for r&r of the rear wheel while on the table.

maybe I should hold off on the drop panel. It SOUNDS like a good idea, but my last one didn't have it and I never said, "wow i wish there was a drop panel". hmmmm.
