Well if that is the case Do Not let her ride your Street Glide, or else you will be buying another Street Glide to replace YOUR newly acquired Fat Boy Lo..... I've had the ring in my nose for 34 years I know how this crap works. LOL

The street glide is a great ride but dude if you are trading in a year old model I can't imagine you are that concerned about wasting money.

Not necessarily wasting money if you are not happy with what you are on. I'm considering getting rid of my RK because it is not for my style of riding. Life's to short...

If the Heritage is paid for like my 13, I'd keep the Heritage and just put some down on new one since you will have a payment anyway.
Why take the "Hit" your talking about. My dealer here in Denver offered me three weeks ago what I paid for it to get me to buy an Ultra. I declined and said Id rather finance an Ultra and keep the Heritage, and so I did

Dude I've owed 15 motorcycles in 10 years so I'm not saying at all don't make the trade just the opposite but if you are trading a one year old model than logically you cannot be that concerned on wasting money. I'm glad I found my perfect bike and I don't have to go through that anymore. Now I can use that money on improving my house.

I guess you're right then. I wasted my money buying a bike that cannot do what I want it to do. Lesson learned

Whether financially it makes sense is totally up to you. What I can tell you is going from a Heritage to the touring frame...especially a 14 touring frame...is not a bad move. I loved my Heritage and still miss it, but the Limited is a true pleasure to ride. More comfortable and better handling. Stereo and gizmos are nice. Beefed up front forks work great. All the other improvements are worth every dime. Financing 7k isn't that bad either.

I would keep the bike that you have. I dont like getting rid of things that are paid off. Just my opinion.

I thought a RK can do it all. From touring to being a stripped down bar hopper. What is it you want out of it, just curious?

Default Traded today

2010 CVO Softail, nearly 23,000 miles, some upgrades for a 2014 Ultra Limited, two-tone model for $6K out-the-door. Last 2014 they had...'15s coming. I want cruise control, anti-lock brakes, comfort, storage, tunes, wind control...so it is worth it for me.
