I put Lyndall Brake Pads on my 2013 Road Glide since they had such good reviews. I normally get 35,000 to 40,000 out of a set of OEM pads. 90% of my riding is cross country and I use my brakes sparingly by mostly gearing down to slow.
I just had to replace the Lyndall pads at 16,000 miles. The rear was completely gone and the fronts were close to gone. No more Lyndall pads for me. Just thought I would pass this on in case anyone here is thinking about Lyndall pads.

I like the Harley organic pads...have Lyndall on my Busa...but bought it that way.
I have never had issues stopping with the Z+ pads wet or dry and have had them on my V-Rod and now the SG which has a tad over 21,000 miles on it. The pads on the SG still have plenty of meat left on them. They also produce almost zero dust...
How dusty did you find that they left your rims? With wear that fast, I would expect a lot of dust left behind.
That is what I can't figure out. Lots of dust on the rear, but not the front, but with about the same wear? Stopping power was good at first, but deminished as pads wore. Oh well just won't use them again.
That's strange, I've had the Z+ on my bike front and rear for right at 20,000 miles. Still lots of pad left and no issues at all with stopping power in either dry or wet conditions. Absolutely no dust buildup.
I went to gold plus and away from the z plus. My issue was poor performance in the rain with the z plus. The golds work fine but produce more dust.
At the end of the day, it's hard to beat the oem pads. Both sets of Lyndals produced varying amounts of dust. Nothing is dust free. That's unrealistic.
I replaced my stock pads with Lyndall gold. Stopping power is about the same as stock. Maybe a little less dust. When the Lyndalls are gone the stock pads will be reinstalled.
