Has anyone used these and how do they wear? I am looking for a better tire for my 2008 FLHTC than the Dunlop crap, my last Dunlop front tire dry rotted and started to crack. I ride a lot I have 60,000 miles on my bike and need something that will last longer and ride as well or better.
There's about 150 threads on here that go into detail. I'm running one on the rear of my Dyna and it's awesome. Not so good in the rain, but it's wearing very well. I'm on track to get about 11-12 thousand on it so far.
Try "search" on this forum. Lots written on it. FWIW...I'm having one I stalled on the front of my TriGlide tomorrow.
The search here sucks, I put it in and you get thousands of post not related to what I am looking for. I just want to hear pro's and con's on these tires before I pull the trigger. I was wondering how they are in the rain seeing that there is no tread in the center of the tire to disperse water.
Can't go wrong with Michelin C II good tires compare to stock, Elite 3 and Pirelli ND handle as good as Pirelli but last lot longer. I've 94K on my 07 went thru countless tires and M C II are my favorites.
i put 21k miles on my rear MCII and changed it with probably 7 or 8k left. probably wont get one again tho. it caused bagger wobble cause it wore so unevenly. i check my tire pressure constantly and it still did. i might have gotten a bad tire since others have gotten better experiences. i have the American Elite now. its handles so much better than my MCII ever did.
