Sorry I can't answer your question about Hogswipe. I have been using DriWash & Guard waterless carwash since the 90's. It works great, has no wax but uses polymers to create an outstanding shine. Looks like there are plenty of quick detail potions out there now, I can't say that DW&G is the best or even close. I have also used Wizard detailer which seems to work OK as well, but I prefer the DriWash & Guard.

Hogswipe works pretty good. sSo does Bugslide. I'd say they are pretty close to the same in results. Both are expensive. Lemon Pledge - - I'll use it on chrome, it takes more buffing and polishing to get it to look good. Didn't like how it worked on paint. I always wash the dirt off the bike before applying any of these. I also will use a quick detailer like Meguiers. Not quite the same result as Bugslide or Hogswipe but close.

Remember the old Hondashine? It had a very specific smell. The amsoil stuff as well as many others Ive seen all have that basic smell. Makes you wonder what factory is filling all these cans.....

It amazes me how many people use waterless cleaners for their rides. Some of them respond they haven't washed their bikes in years.I guess now my question is how do they get the road film and accumulated dirt off the frame, engine etc without washing the bike?I guess I'm old school because I wash my bike when its dirty and I would not even think about applying a waterless cleaner to the surface of my paint.

Nobody is more picky about their bike than I am trust me, and I use Bugslide and Maquires quick detailer with micro fiber rags. I basically never put a hose to my bike unless it is just filthy dirty and my bike looks like brand new 24/7 365 days a year. I throw the micro fiber rags away after each cleaning as I have found they just don't work the same after washing them, and I sometimes even use two of them if the bike is really dirty...I clean after every one or two rides. My bike has no scratches or swirls at all. Those cleaners have polymer in them and that is why they don't scratch your paint. You can clean the frame and wheels with quick detailer or Bugslide as well.

Before I got hit on my Yamaha Venture and it got totaled, that bike was 5 years old and looked as good as the day that I brought it home from the dealer, and I had only put a hose to it probably 2 times in 5 years. One more little tip....for those of you with fairings, when you get a ton of bugs on your fairing get a bucket of hot water and wet a micro fiber towel in it and just kinda lay it on the fairing and move it around really gently over the bugs and they will literally just fall off with no effort at all, then use your cleaner after that to clean the fairing good!

Did you ever read the checklist that they go over when you pick up a new bke. They warn TO use plenty of water when washing your bike. Sorry, but I'm a ''flooder'' when it comes to washing cars or bikes. Need waster to suspend and wash the stuff away from not messing up the paint/clearcoat. At least that's my way of washing
