I have take two Ultras in a 7x14 from Toronto to Florida, staggered no problem. Late model F150 pulls it through the mountains with little effort. A bigger trailer would be nice but I would buy a F250 (what ever 3/4 ton) if I was doing it often.

go with the 96" wide by 16' foot long you will appriciate the extra space and not have to worry about putting one bike in forwards and the other backwards.

Timely thread.
Planning on a larger trailer myself, currently have a 6X12. Was going to go 7X14, now sure I want at least 16 long and go with 102 wide.
Camping and an 1800 mile move in my future.
It's all about the space!

You won't regret that size, plenty of room for tools, coolers, and gear and it's not that much more check around before spring a lot of deals on last years leftovers, usually better choices and prices on the bigger trailers, most first timers go mostly with the 6' and 7' wide.
Good luck on your move.

I have 2 Street Glides staggered in a 7x14. It's pretty tight widthwise, but the forward bike can be carefully removed with the rear bike still chocked in.
I attached carpet squares where the fairings and saddlebags are close to the walls after an unfortunate and expensive trip over the George Washington Bridge.

I move two baggers in my 6 x 12. It is tight. But it handles them well, I tow with a Explorer, so I appreciate the narrower 6' trailer when towing. I find that I place the tie downs ready and have the handlebars loops attached when I ride the bike into the trailer. Mine are staggered slightly as well. Tie down the forward bike, do the same for the second bike. Bikes transported as such are:

Street Glide Special & Road Glide Ultra
Road Glide Ultra & Road King
Electra Glide & Nomad (a friends rice burner).
Road King with aftermarket fairing and FLH Shovelhead

We do not go all that far. About 650 miles. In February we used to escape from the snowy and wet mountains of Washington State to Red Bluff, California as a launching point. That is one long days ride in the trailer to escape winter. (This was before Al Gore's Global Warming made Washington State's winters warm and sunny with cool or cold nights. We now ride without rain gear (but with heated gear) year round. I now support Global Climate change, but we do not live in Boston either!

I have a this snowmobile trailer....thinking it might fit two baggers beside each other. Gonna need a guide and tie down anchors.
Will check the heights this spring.
Thinking this for a future trip to Daytona or something!!

I bought a 7'6" X 16' for this very reason. I can get a Tri Glide up front and two Electra Glides side by side. The extra 6" was needed for clearance between the bat wings. Still tight but enough clearance between bikes and walls.
