Very nice!!! I was gonna get some work done by Dan a few years ago at Delmarva Bike Week. But he was set up in the OC Bikefest part that you had to pay $35 to get into. Pass.

Thanks!!! Back to where I want to be bike-wise. Even though it is starting over from scratch. But at least I have a little better platform as a starting point. Now I don't miss my RGU as much anymore. Will be even less once I get a tour pak. I'm pretty sure I was always meant to be on a RG. I was just too stubborn with my 07 to take the time to tweak it.

Would you tattoo Miss America? Or pin stripe a Ferrari?

Talking

Got no interest in Ferraris and are you telling us that Miss America isn't already tattooed?! Pin-stripes on a dresser are just exactly where they belong.....

Point is you don't screw with something that is already beautiful.
But if you like pin stripes, go for it.
They may come back into style and you will be on the cutting edge.
If OP is looking for opinions my vote is no.

I like the one done by Dan Kite in this thread.
Only the Specials have the pinstripe.

Then by extension, that must mean that pinstripes are special.

I say - if you like pinstripes, get pinstripes. Your bike, your choice. Do what makes you happy.

Unless you're thinking about TAPE pinstripes - then no, we'd have to hunt you down and kill you.

Actually what you are doing is adding to it by breaking up the mono-tone of it, which lets you appreciate it that much more. IMO of course.
