I have the 12" version on my Limited.

Swapping a member here for the 13"...

I love them.

'Have them on the '09 SERG for 20k now, love 'em.

Working together with the Harley Premium Cartridge Forks = a moderately priced great suspension for me!

Just did it a few weeks ago on 2012 ultra. Best damn thing I did 3300 miles and they seem to be getting better. Can't believe they still even put HD air crap on bikes at all

It does take a few miles to break them in.

I had the 12" version on my RKC, and traded those for the 13" for my last 2 Electra Glides. The longer ones do give you a little better ride.

Edit: If you do a search you will find tons of posts about the Premium Shocks, here's another one I just saw.

I put a set of 13" on my SG , and thought they were stiffer than I expected, have about 800 miles on them and folks say they need to break in. I haven't rode two up yet and think they might work better with more of a load on. I do have them set on the softest setting.

No John, just for 09 up as far as HD shocks go. I'm sure if you if you check around you can find other aftermarket shocks that are good. Maybe finding something slightly used for a good price. Seems like a lot of people go thru numerous sets of shocks and still aren't satisfied.

I had a set on my bike but for a little more money I purchased the S36e from Ohlins.
(Fuelmoto $555)
Ohlins are a better ride and they can be rebuilt.

If my 13 limited had come with the premium shocks I would not have switched to Ohlins but sadly HD puts 25 dollar air shocks on a 25,000 bike.

I just bought a new RGS and they are standard on that model. I adjusted them according to the book for my weight and they are definitely more firm than the air shocks on my 08. I only have about 30 miles on them but so far I like them.
