And they won't...it's an old part number. Not sure why, the only thing I could come up with is when Sirius/XM merged the software inside changed, so they needed a new part number. Still functions the same though.

FYI... Not all part numbers come up on the public HD website anyway.

I read somewhere here that the part number for the kit is what H-D uses, and the part number you've got for the XM module is just for that piece.

Kit Number versus Part Number... I think you are right about that

I'm also into RC vehicles and that happens a lot there too... you need one piece, but the only thing you can find is the kit number, so you have to refer to a manual to find the exact part number.

From what I remember, if you look at the kit instructions, where it should list the part number for the module, it says "not sold separately", so the only way you'd get the number is from the label on the module.

If you Google Sirius XM discount code you can get one for a $25 subscription for six months with relative ease. I do it every 6 months, just put it in my calendar and renew before it expires. A PIA but it Beats $15 a month.
