Default CB Module for Touring Bikes

I bought this module on eBay thinking I would install it myself in my new Road Glide since the 2017 and up touring models don't come with CB radios anymore. While negotiating a price with the dealer he threw in the CB for half price so I held on to this one. This will fit 2014-2019 Touring bikes with the Boom! Box Premium radios. Check fitment for your bike. You will need to buy the bracket $12, a right hand switch pack on the handlebar for push to talk, and an antenna. I have a list of all the part numbers needed to complete this install. The wiring is already in the bike, just plug it in and screw on the antenna. New Castle sells this for $326, I'll take $150 shipped.

According to the instructions the radio software has to be enabled by the digital technician.

No the radio doesn't have to be flashed once you put the module in the can bus will recognize it.

I installed this same part number CB Module in my 2017 RGU and it was recognized by the 6.5 and did not require flashing. It is literally plug and play with the exception of the switch pack and antenna.
