the pipes are loud but not in an obnoxious way. The tone varies a lot depending on how much you get into the throttle. I belive the sound is very crisp when tuned in.....yes there are other baffles available.

I believe these pipes will fit up to an '08 model.
I see no reason why they won't.
I dont think they'll fit '09 and up, though...not with the frame change.
Good buy for someone!
