Default Rims

I've got the stock spoke rims off of my 07 Road King. They're in perfect condition.
$150.00 plus shipping. They'll look great on your bike.
PM if interested.

JDay, I called the service dept at the dealership and they told me that they are the same for both bikes, so these rims will fit your 96.
I'll shoot you a PM also.

Just for info, the 07 is not a direct fit to the 96 bike. I did a conversion on my 98 FLTCHI to 07 wheels. The bearings need to be changed on the front, the rotors will not fit from the older bike. You will need new rotors. You will also need to cut a small hole for the speedo drive. You will also need to modify the speedo drive, as it is too long to work on the newer wheel. The rear on my bike, I did a conversion to the newer swing arm, broke two before that. I used the stabo conversion bushings and it was a direct fit. To use the newer wheel, you will also need to get a new rear brake rotor and a new belt drive from a 2000 - 2004. After that they went to a smaller belt. Email me if you want more info on how to do the convesion. They do look much better than the older wheels I had.

Deleon,
I appreciate all that info. It looks like your bike is probably a Heritage.
That may account for differences. I don't what frame changes they made to those bikes at that time.
JDay, if your buddy has questions about the fit I'd suggest he make a call to a dealer where you live. The service dept here told me the rims would work.
