After taking some time to ponder this I am selling my Madstad. It has been used for 18-months so the plastic is not perfect so don't expect something completely blemish free, but it is in good condition. It is the Smoke tinted.
I painted the lower portion of the shield to help conceal the robo brackets on the baseplate with a gloss black basecoat/clearcoat. It came out great and has held up really well. It does have some bug splatter that does not seem to want to come off though.
The Madstad works exceptionally well and I have no negative comments about it other than the looks.
$200 shipped to the lower 48
