windshields SOLD
** BOTH ARE SOLD ** very slightly used windshields
6.5" Klock Werks Flare, dark smoke. $170 new. $100 shipped.
(Comes with a Tail o Dragon sticker!)
8" Clearview Shields Recurve, clear. $90 new. $60 shipped.
I've tried a bunch of shields. The 6.5" KW is v/cool but too short for me. I'm 6'2" and have a C&C seat that puts me 2" back and 1/2 down. It's fine up to 65 mph. The Clearview works fine for me in terms of buffeting but once I tried the KW and experienced the stability thing I was sold on KW Flair. Some think they are ugly.
I ended up using a 8.5" KW that I cut down about 3/4." Big PIA, but it works great.
