mind if I ask where you got the 5x7 to 6x9 adapters for these lids?
The adapters are generic 5x7 / 6x8 to 6x9 plastic adapters that I modified to fit around existing lid. The lids is intact.
nah wasn't questioning the lid at all. Just wondering if there was something else out there that worked with these lids I was unaware of without too much modification. Currently as it stands, the only thing I've found to fit absolutely perfectly is the Biketronics/HAT 6x9 setup with their adapters.
Crash bar speakers sound great. I was able to hear them loud and clear. they were running off the 4-channel amp I have listed powering these, speaker lids and 6.5's in the fairing.
