Default Casper should know

Just going out for the first time

grips are a good deal higher and closer but straighter

All cleaned up for the Bike show in Clarion Fall Festival of Leaves

I have no knowledgeof 14' and newer my 09" has a cable clutch there is a difference with hydraulic clutch all I needed was a +6 cable for clutch. Wide sweepers I believe are 3.3 inches wider and grip angle is a bit straighter, good luck on your choice a very persona one. ride safely fearless

I used some 6" wiring extensions, it just made things easier. I had changed the bars before but didn't like the ones I had gotten at all, so I knew it would help.

You might need to grind some of the plastic away where the clutch and brake hose lines tuck inside the black plastic "dashboard" (where the six switches are,) because you end up running them a little straighter than before, but that's about it.

Maybe rotate your banjo bolts a little to straighten the lines out, the angle changes. Just loosen the fastener enough to barely rotate the fittings so you don't get any air in there and re-torque.

Here's a great thread with step by step pics for changing bars on a Rushmore. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/new-r...-included.html

Default Pull back handlebars

I'm sold on the Helibars. There's a set on my 2015 Triglide now and I can finally reach the handlebars in comfort. They are adjustable and pull back a few inches better than the touring pull-backs. Helibars makes a set for the Freewheeler. They seem expensive; I paid $700.00, but that was "installed".

Who did your installation?

Me and my riding partner are considering Tri-Glides ('18 model year) and I like the idea of adjustable bars.

Default Helibars Installation

The Helibars dealer did the install. The company's located in the north east, but they set up at Daytona Bike Week and the Sturgis Rally. Great folks to deal with. I recommend you check out their website and give them a call to get the rally schedule.

Sorry for my post on the TG bars.... for your Freewheeler get Wild One Chubby bars for a Road King 12" or even 14" and pull them back to where you like them...but first put on a reduced reach seat....
