Backing up with my Bushtec can be a little challenging, short wheel base makes it a bit quick to want to jackknife.

Its Bushtec for me, more expensive but you get what you pay for.

I've owned two cargo trailers (still have one) and I used it mostly when my wife rode with me.
Once she started riding her own bike and could carry her own gear the need for a trailer ended.
My first trailer was a leaf-spring rear suspension and it did bounce a bit.
My second has air shocks and it does NOT bounce and pulls and trails much better so I'd highly recommend air suspension if you plan to use the trailer frequently on long trips.

As for the pros/cons:
Pros: faster packing up gear and obviously more space for junk bought during your travels.
Great for two-up riding and/or camping trips

Cons: Taking the trailer when you don't really need it and taking more stuff that you don't need simply because you have the ability to do so!
JMO perhaps, but they do slow you down in mountains and on curvy or wet roads

Unlike somethings in life. I think you get what you pay for in buying a pull behind trailer for a bike. I know you can "pull" almost anything but the better the trailer, the better it pulls. I would much rather ride an empty bike and pull a trailer than ride an "Over Loaded" bike without a trailer.

We have done a 7 week trip out west, a 5 week trip down south and another 10 week trip west, not to mention many shorter trips. We now have well over 30,000 miles on our Mission trailer. None of these trips would have been possible without a trailer... we simply haul too much luggage... and that's the way we like it.
