That is not what I meant It is a requirement for your license in Washington state - - meaning that if you live in Washington state, and your license is from Washington State, then you must have a 3-wheel endorsement on your license. I have had a two wheel endorsement for many years, but when I bought the trike, I needed the 3-wheel endorsement. Fortunately I was able to obtain this through the MSF class. It is 8-hours/day for two days.
BTW, the dealers will not even let you test ride a trike here, without the 3-wheel endorsement.
Hope this clears this up.

Here in TX if it has less than 4 wheels you have to have a M endorsement.
2 or 3 wheels is the same license...

I have Washtington listed as needing a 3 wheel license.

I don't have TX on the list at all, It won't let me edit the original post anymore. TX should be in #2
