I weigh 295 plus gear. I feel no give.
I do tend to make sure my foot is towards the back of the floor board/step where it connects to the mid step frame instead of the outer edge when I put my weight on it.
I weigh 275 and I dont feel any give when getting on or off., for me it makes getting on and off much easier and it also gives you somewhere extra to put your feet while riding just for a change.
I would like to put mine closer to the rear to miss the engine oil drain plug but then using my J&S jack is difficult to get under the bike so it holds and lifts it properly.
Seems like each of us has to figure it out a bit differently to suit our individual needs based on year of birth (bike and self) physical conditions (backs, knees, etc.) and use of lifting equipment for working on and cleaning the trike. Good thread!
