Looks sharp !
Did it come just like that or was it completly enclosed in a crate ?
Would have been real funny if you showed up with a lenght of
fireman's hose comming out of your truck and telling them you
wanted to test for leaks .... LOL .....
Now you got us biting at the bit waiting for ours in 3 weeks :-(
Rob ......
It came just like you see it, when I took the picture they were just moving the fork lift from the front to the back. It was stuck in the trailer back end first. Speaking of a fire hose and leaks. Was at the dealers later on with my dad. We opened the trunk and lo and behold the gasket is different than what is on my dads, not to mention you don't have to slam the crap out of the trunk to close it. Will see if it leaks when I get a chance to wash it.
Congratulations! Why do I think thats its a keeper, even if the trunk leaks?
The trunk has a different seal than what is on my dads so I'm hoping it doesn't leak. If it does I'm sure the dealer will make things right. They have been doing their best to get my dads problem taken care of.

It will be interesting to here your report as to whether or not the new seal actually works!
When I spoke with the gal at H.D Customer Service about a month ago; she told me that they had a fix but that they are painfully aware that the first two fixes didnt work so they were going to test the heck out of the new fix before they released it.
Based upon that conversation, I would bet that the new seal works but only time and you lucky people with a 2010 will know for sure!
You answered my question before I even asked it. I have a 2009 Triglide and my truck just started leaking. Didn't know they were having issues. Plan to call the dealer I bought it from today and see what the fix is.
Thanks !!
Thanks. The last 2 bikes I've bought have been red and I'm keeping my 06 Ultra which as you can see by my sig is red. I figured I'd do something different and I've never had a 2 tone bike so Blue and Silver it is and I'm pleased with how it looks. Should look pretty sharp once I get done putting all the goodies on. Right now as it sits I don't know when I'll take delivery because the dealer hasn't gotten the MSO yet so I'm in limbo.
congrats on getting your trike and many happy ad safe miles to you both. unfortunately for us, we found out today that after putting down a deposit in early july, our bike is scheduled for a november build. while i can't fault the dealership, i have to wonder how HD cannot ship a bike any faster than that. the dealership is getting an unsold two-tone like yours in a week and then there's a 3 month lag. very disappointing, especially because in northeast ohio, the riding season can come to a quick end. would love to hear how you like it and accessories you are considering. stay in touch.

Thats a bummer, what color are you looking for? If 2010 is built and delivered like 2009 then I can see how they are few and far between. I don't know what the actual build total for 2009 was but it worked out that the dealers got 2 to start with and they were delivered several months apart. Once they sold their second one they could then order a third if it was available.
