We were the proud owners of an '09 Red-Hot SunGlow TriGlide...
Picked up from dealer on Oct 24, 2008...
As of Sept 2, 2009 we had 25,850+/- miles on it...
Last day Mac rode it was Sept 16, 2009...

Thanks to a successful surgery and the introduction of the Tri-Glide, I am now able to once again ride.
If you have had a chance to follow the forum, you may have noticed that we have had a discussion on resale and value retention. I am wondering if you had any difficulty in locating a buyer for your TG and if you would mind telling us the selling price of your ’09 TG?
I’m certain that I speak for this entire forum in saying that we hope that Mac makes full recovery and is as fortunate as I was to be able to resume a normal life!
Best of luck!
It looks like the Harley Lehman collaboration is over after a short 2 year run! I was of course being facetious and having a little fun with the collectability of a high end low production run Harley. However now the Lehman Harley just entered a class by itself, the pre-water cooled status may also narrow their production status over time.
I bet they water cool the 2012 model! Either a different engine design or water cooled heads on the ol 103/110 cu. in. Twin Cam. 94% 09 fourth quarter profit loss over same period in 08. This comes off a 92% second quarter profit loss for the second quarter of 09. MOCO can't overcome a horrible economy plus a reputation for hot touring bikes.
I am to old to worry about a bikes/trikes resale value over time also but as a point of interest we have not seen the final version of the Tri Glide yet! The end product will be the result of Harley working around the EPA to get back close to the 09 Tri they had initial success with.
Will be interesting to see what Harley comes up with in 2012, if they are still making them!

As with the old Harley's it ain't so much about the age as it is the milage!
Vietnam, a couple of bad spills on these old bikes and just scratchin out a livin in East Ky has taken it's toll.
If I had any idea when I was young that I would live this long I would have taken better care of myself.
