Looks like there are cut-outs on the side and small slots on the top to show the red lens.
Boom, P/N 68332-8, does not have a slot on top; the top of the chrome collar is solid. The cut-outs on the sides are for the two mounting screws.
There is another collar (I dont know the part number) that has a cut out area on top that is used as a license plate light on some 2- wheel models. I think that is what youre looking at.
This is the picture I was referencing after googling that part number. This showed up on Amazon. They very well may be incorrect in their display or the look is very disceiving.
