Suggestion of making them the same leather as the saddle would be classy. However, it would look great to have the leather stamped, with your initials, as in a branding iron look.

I am going one step further. I found a guy in New Mexico who does beautiful custom hand made saddle and tool bags out of belting leather.
Will stamp my initials on the bags which will be mounted on the side panels.
Talked to him today and he was going to stop at the harley dealer to get exact dimensions and figure out a way to attach the tool bags. They measure 11"X5.5"X3.5" deep.. I think they will be very functional and will complement the brown leather seat. I like this idea much more than the saddles offered by Harley that require putting holes in the fender and I dont think they will cost me as much. Will take pictures and post when project is finished.
