I've got one we bought last year in Sturgis and love it. I also have one that was sitting in the garage when I went to Sturgis :@ Been trying half-assed to sell the old one, with a hitch for a bagger to boot.
The 09 and 10 Tri's have trouble pulling themselves in stock form. Without the gear change, pipes, Stage I and tune minimum I would think a trailer would lug a stock Tri to death. Of course I live in the mountains, if you never have to go off level they might handle the extra load.
Trailer sold locally in Michigan yesterday....what the heck was I thinking? Major brain skip. @Mike Sr...you are right, I need to rethink my packing process.

Rest easy IHP, no trailer for me/us (lol).
Barbara: I'm certainly glad you gave it some more thought as I sure wouldn't want you to give Joan any heart burn that you were getting ahead of her.

You got that right Mike. LOL! Guess what! There is going to be a "bling" vendor there in MV. Barbara, you may want to make that trip, because I just may buy something.......blingy....
@Coupe - I pulled a trailer loaded up with goodies picked up in Sturgis last year on a stock 10 Tri. Just had to keep an eye on the rpm and hills. Only time there was trouble was around Branson in the heat wave that had air temps around 105 during the day.
@Barb - early bird gets the worm the extra trailer I have is from the late 80's to early 90's. I got it from a friend who couldn't do the long hauls anymore due to his wife's medical conditions. It doesn't use a ball hitch, instead it is a heim joint. You should be able to find a similar one in size at Sturgis this year. The guy I got my new one from is there a couple of days early. Mine was about $2200 brand new. Good luck in your quest

Wished I lived closer to MV to meet you and rest of the TG friends!
Ok, started packing for my 3-day trip to Lewiston, ID Friday...taking the small T-Bag (Baja) this time!
