Absolutely beautiful 80 mile lunch run
6 of us road Little Tujunga Canyon through the foothills to a little burger dive in the middle of nowhere. Lunch on the patio, then another canyon ride home. 2 trikes, 3 'regular' Harleys. Mid 80's sunny, clear sky, little breeze. What more could you ask for.
2 of us road the Kangamagus (The Kanc) through the mountains of New Hampshire in the middle of nowhere just for the sheer joy of it. Mid 40s, cloudy, windy, but no snow fell during the 200 mile ride, honest I told her I was going out for a gallon of milk. What more could you ask for.....not a whole lot, it felt good having the wind in my face again. Mid 80's seems so far off.

Been down that road several times and it is absolutely breath taking, Will be down it once again in July.
I guess those of us that live up here seem to take it for granted. Folks that I run into from other states say how lucky we are to have so many great places to ride.
My favorite ride is the Blue Ridge Pkwy. So many great memories there and it is peaceful. Hell, I just love the freedom of a 16 day road trip.
Shoot me an email when you get up this way. Where you guys going in July?
