Brought out the neglected NRS
All this talk about the source of the Vrod engine reminded me that I have not taken mine out yet this year. So, I dug it out of the back of the shop and went for a short get acquainted with it again ride. Now I remember why I got it. It will stay in use until it gets it's annual 1,000 miles. I may even favor it with 2K. It is a 12 NRS that I put away last year early after it's 5K service.
the only mods are a K&N air filter, Corbra FI2000R-CL tuner that bumps the AFR to 12.8:1 and shed a couple pounds with the removal of the passenger pegs. Runs very strong.
