2013 vrscdx security system

hey all I got a 13 nightrod 😁 there is no security system on the bike from what I can tell. I pick the bike up in Alberta. Took it to Winnipeg then back to British Columbia 😁. I started the bike 🏍 and drove it home.is there a way to bypass the factory system or remove it from the bike? If it’s not on the bike how will I be able to know? Are there any trick or button pressing orders? Thanks for your time .

If you have a key fob, you have a security system. If you have a key only, your bike starts & shuts off with the key only, no alarm system.

Look for a flashing (slow intervals) red light on the speedo when bike is parked. As mentioned, you should have a key-fob. The alarm sets itself automatically. To test it, shove the bike around with the key-fob in a far away location, the turn signals should flash and maybe a siren if installed afterwards.
