Completing a deal on a 2008 Anniversary model with 5200 miles, using Harley's rider to rider program, on the fence about adding warranty, any thoughts? My first V rod . Anything I should look out for? I'll post pics after I pick it up.

If the tires are original, I would adhere to the 6 year rule and change them out. As far as the warranty, I'm not a big believer in them, however it's obvious that bike sat a lot.

Tires have about 1000 miles on them, half the mileage on the bike has been put on by the current owner.in the past 2 years The Harley warranty is a little over $1400 for 2 years,

Check the date on the tires, if older than 6 years, I would change them out regardless of mileage.

Great advice. Seller produced receipt for full service and new tires dated 2 years ago, thanks for your replies. Dealer inspection is tomorrow, we'll see if they find any issues.

After getting into it I decided to replace both front and rear tires, not something to fool with, seller worked with me, I'm thinking of removing the fairing and adding the small headlight fairing in black.

Smart move. Which brand did you choose?

Dealer is running a special on either the Dunlops or Michelins, went with the Dunlops, I believe that's what it came with from the factory.
