+1 on the Avon Cobras. They were like turning a light switch on for grip for me on my '06 Street Rod. Lots of other owners like the Metzelers and Pirellis.
As far as the warranty, did you make a decision on that? I sold my Street Rod at 58k and had one major issue. At 54k my output shaft bearing went bad. It was $100 in parts and $75 in pizza and beer with the help of some friends to fix it ourselves. The engine case had to be split.
Other things to check for:
1.) Triple sprocket bolt likes to come loose. Needs checked if it hasn't.
2.) Fall away adjustment.
3.) Clutch and brake fluid change.
